BK’s, Trafalgar VIC

BK’s is a takeaway & eat in café/burger franchise, located in the rural Gippsland region of Victoria.  When we began working with BK’s, they didn’t have a store ‘concept’ but two stores that were up & running. We worked with them to get a thorough understanding of their brand, their offering and their customer.  We developed a concept that encapsulated their requirements, expanding their appeal to a wider audience, whilst not alienating their current customers.

Giving an insight into the vast range of customers we work with, the BK’s customer is a traveller, a truck driver, and a local.Therefore, our concept needed to appeal and be comfortable to this vast array of target customers.We opted to develop a concept with industrial features, with highlights including the C-channel beams, industrial stools and light fittings.The timber used throughout creates a warmth, together with the upholstered banquette seating.It was important to us to give BK’s a signature colour, which could be used across their stores, and which would begin to give them brand recognition for their future rollout
