With a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Industrial Design and as a Registered Building Practitioner, Amy has a deep passion for creating beautiful, practical, and attainable design solutions that align seamlessly with her clients' brands. She focuses on delivering smart design outcomes that meet high aesthetic standards while remaining realistic within budget constraints. She is committed to incorporating sustainability into her projects, especially when these goals resonate with clients. Lauren Mills
Design Manager

Lauren is a seasoned Interior Designer and Manager, with thirteen years of experience. Since completing her Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Interior Design, Lauren has spent most of her career specializing in retail rollouts for some of Australia’s most recognized brands. More recently, she has worked client side in the food and beverage sector; creating inviting and functional designs for cafés, coffee carts, and grab-and-go formats. With this background, she strives to streamline internal workflows and build long-term relationships with her clients via clear and consistent communication. As a conduit between client and designer, Lauren ensures timelines are met, updates are captured, and projects are executed to a high standard.

Vicky Phung
Interior Designer

Vicky is a valued Interior Designer with over thirteen years of experience in architecture and interior design, including seven years in Vietnam and six years in Australia. She specializes in retail design, creating functional and visually captivating spaces that elevate customer experience. Vicky’s strengths include concept development, detailed documentation, and effective collaboration with clients and shopfitters. She is passionate about designing cafes, restaurants, and high-end retail spaces, however, tackles every project with the same tenacity and dedication.

Tina Chin
Interior Designer

Tina is a talented Interior Designer with an Associate Degree in Interior Decoration and Design and a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Interior Design. Recognized with awards such as the Graduate of the Year (TAS/VIC) and the RMIT Vice Chancellor’s List Award, Tina brings both creativity and excellence to her work. With two years in residential and three years in commercial interior design, her expertise covers concept development, spatial layouts, FF&E specifications, construction documentation and client liaison. Tina is passionate about designing spaces that are both authentic and functional.

Raquel Altaba
Interior Designer

Raquel is a knowledgeable interior designer and drafter with over 7 years of experience in both Australia and Spain, working across residential and retail projects. With a background in architecture, Raquel can visualize the potential in seemingly unattractive spaces. Her expertise spans from concept development to on-site management, which has given her a comprehensive understanding of the entire design process. She places a strong emphasis on detailed planning and thorough documentation, knowing that careful attention to these elements ensures a smooth construction process with minimal surprises. Raquel’s meticulous approach is evident in the success of every project she undertakes.

Interior Designer

Cris is a Commercial Designer and Draftsperson with over five years of experience in the retail design industry. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and professional training in space planning and design software, Cris is passionate about optimizing store layouts, to ensure they are visually appealing and highly functional. She finds immense satisfaction in seeing projects evolve from initial concepts to completed spaces that people actively use and enjoy. With this passion, Cris has become a valuable designer within our team. Her thorough and efficient documentation skills, she ensures projects are delivered to a high standard and within forecasted timelines.

John Patrick Pajarin
Design Support

John plays a crucial role in supporting the design team at Studio Grayscale, allowing the workflow to run smoothly and efficiently. With a background in lead generation and executive assistance across various sectors, he brings a strong organizational skillset to the table. John focuses on handling administrative tasks that keep the team moving forward; from managing samples and summarizing tenders to overseeing social media and marketing efforts. He contributes to the overall success of the design team by ensuring everything behind the scenes is executed. This allows the creative team to focus on delivering high-quality work to our clients.
