PARKSIDE PANTRY, Caulfield North VIC

A brand-new concept store has arrived in Caulfield North. Parkside Pantry is a cafe, providore and deli – primely located on the corner of Balaclava and Hawthorn road in Caulfield, directly opposite Caulfield Park.

The brief for this store began with two reference images, and a brand colour supplied by the client.  From there we delved further into considered mood boards, followed by the store concept design - collaborating with our client throughout the process to ensure the final result would be something they loved, and which was suitable for the local demographic and their target market.

The resulting store – a concept that is clean, sophisticated, and approachable.  Cool concrete finishes contrast with a black framework that surrounds the servery zones, with signage clearly identifying locations for each destination within the store, ensuring ease of navigation throughout. 

Strong branding is intertwined into the store design. With all counters throughout constructed from textured mdf, finished in the corporate brand colour.  Flooring throughout is polished concrete, walls are treated in a specialised polished plaster/paint finish, the ceiling is finished in crisp white and behind the deli counter is a prominent illuminated led sign ‘Parkside Pantry'.

Finishes throughout the store are consistent and connected, from the exterior through to the interior.  Resulting in a design that is considered, and which stands out proudly on the street corner – with the striking brand colour reinforcing the memorable landmark that is Parkside Pantry.
