JETS, DAVID JONES, BOURKE ST. VIC

Jets within David Jones, Bourke St – was the first shop in shop concept designed by us for Jets.  As with all shop in shops, the focus is the floor joinery, the wall bays and signage – and working within the specific requirements of the retailer – in this case, David Jones.

In keeping with the brand, we designed a shop in shop concept – ‘sophisticated in style and effortlessly chic’ - aligning with their brand values and target market description.

All joinery was custom designed specifically for Jets, and included, floor racks, mannequin platforms, an interchangeable graphic stand and wall-bays with flexibility – yet maintaining premium feel. 

A key source of inspiration, as identified by Jets - the female form and the movement of the water.  We took this brief and designed the joinery to echo soft curves, along with subtle textural elements, replicated on both the wall bays and the floor joinery. 

We incorporated marble detailing throughout – featuring white Carrara and black Damatsas, this was used on the tops of all floor joinery.

The wall bays feature soft LED illumination, surrounding the product and back illuminating the logo.

The overall outcome, a shop in shop / concession that replicates the brands values and goals.
